National Statistics of note. Some dominating performances that need kudos

Andrew Luck and his team make the Stat list twice this week. Courtesy of theclevelandfan.com
  • Luke Kuechly now has 125 total tackles on the season within 9 games. This is the best in America. Kudos to the spectactular sophomore out of Boston College
  • Oregon continues to dominate offensively. The Ducks are averaging 54.7 points per game this season. Ungodly, yes. Chip Kelly is a pure genius
  • TCU now only gives up an average of 8.5 points per game this season
  • The second best team in total offense in the country is Nevada. The Wolfpack play Boise State November 26th
  • Boston College and Florida are tied for the most interceptions with 17 this season. Defense has never been the issue with both teams
  • Stanford control the ball for 57% of the game
  • LaMichael James continues to dominate as he has eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark and has found the endzone 17 times
  • Wonder why Stanford has the ball for such a long time? They convert 58% of their 3rd downs.
  • Navy and Penn State are the two most disciplined teams in College Football. Both teams only average about 3.5 penalties per game.
  • Justin Blackmon has only played 8 games this season but he has caught 75 passes (15 for touchdowns) for 1,285 yards
