Games to Keep Your Eye On: Week 12

Let us also see if Jaquizz Can Carry His Team Against USC Today
We are almost at the end of the College Football season. I know I'm weeping, are you?

The great thing about it is that we are still able to savor these last two weeks with great satisfaction. The top three teams in the BCS rankings are not playing this week, but in College Football, a single game does not define the day. Here are some games to keep your eye on in Week 12.

SEC: There aren't any games that will determine the SEC race since the race has finished, but Arkansas @ Mississippi State should be a great game between two western powers. Arkansas has won four games in a row by a margin of 10+ (20+ past Ole Miss). The Razorbacks are on an offensive role that not many defenses have been able to stop. Arkansas averages 37 points per game while only giving up 22. The Punisher is leading the SEC in passing and Arkansas has arguably the most momentum in the conference.

Mississippi State is coming off a tough loss to Bama, but they have the ability to stay right in this game with Arkansas. The Bulldog defense is definitely good enough, and if they are able to force two or more turnovers at Davis Wade Stadium they have a chance to win this one at home.

Big Ten: Ohio State @ Iowa--

Michigan State are big Iowa fans this weekend, as a Ohio State loss would effectively knock Wisconsin and OSU out of the Rose Bowl Race. I still believe Ohio State is the best overall team in the conference, but Iowa is no slouch themselves. Terrelle Pryor needs to get in his rythym early and continue to hand the ball to Boom Harron. Like I said last week with OSU, if the Buckeyes are able to create turnovers off of Stanzi, this game will easily be in hand.

Wisconsin @ Michigan--

I really like Wisconsin here. They put up 83 points on Indiana, but that's irrevelant. Wisconsin's running game (minus Clay) can control the ball for more time imaginable. That keeps the potent Michigan offense off the field, and the battered Michigan defense on it. If Wisconsin controls the ball for more than half the game, the Badgers will defeat the Wolverines.

Big 12
Nebraska @ Texas A&M--

I love the Aggies' chances in this game. Kyle Field will be pumped up to prove Pelini wrong,  but Texas A&M has won four impressive games in a row. Ryan Tannehill has rejuvinated the offense and Von Miller is dominating on defense. Nebraska is the least consistent one-loss team in the country. I can never know what I will see from them week to week. The 12th man has a chance to beat the Cornhuskers, but they need to hold Nebraska's rushing attack under 220 yards to have a very good shot.

ACC
Virginia Tech @ Miami--

Virginia Tech is the best team in the ACC. Miami has the best weapons across the board in the ACC. Stephen Morris has shown his ability to win games since Jacory Harris was hurt in the road loss to Virginia. The Hurricanes have won two games in a row with Morris at the helm. Miami also flaunts the second best defense in the conference. The key to this game will be the red zone. Virginia Tech is extremely good inside the twenty while Miami has the 10th best conversion score in the ACC. If Virginia Tech is able to force Miami to kick two or more field goals within the red zone, Virginia Tech will win this game. Bud Foster needs to put pressure on a true freshman quarterback as well and force him into hurries and mistakes.
