P&W's Thoughts: BCS Standings Week 10

  1. Oregon-- Right where they should be.. dominant
  2. Auburn -- Took care of Chatty, no big deal
  3. TCU-- DESTROYED a very good Utah team. Newest playoff supporters' darling
  4. Boise State-- Kills Hawaii, moves back in rankings.. ouch
  5. LSU-- Impressive for a team thought to have no offense
  6. Stanford-- Andrew Luck and Co. want that Oregon game back.. big time
  7. Wisconsin-- Best team in the Big 10 right now
  8. Nebraska-- Won ugly, but still plays well
  9. Ohio State-- Buckeyes want a Rose Bowl berth but they won't get it unless Wisconsin slips up
  10. Oklahoma State-- Biggest suprise
  11. Michigan State-- Cinderella season still chugging along
  12. Alabama-- Lost in unimpressive fashion..
  13. Iowa-- Beat Indiana by 5. It's the Big TEN
  14. Utah-- Gameday wasted a game
  15. Arkansas-- Very strong in the toughest division in the country
  16. Oklahoma-- Lost to A&M. boom
  17. Missouri-- Gabbert could not get going against the Red Raiders.. gah
  18. Arizona-- November 26th. Be there or be square. Wildcats looked square against Stanford though..
  19. Mississippi State-- Love this team, love this coach. I want 9 wins out of these guys
  20. Virginia Tech-- Best team in a dormant ACC
  21. Nevada-- Should be undefeated, but still has Boise on that schedule of theirs
  22. Florida-- 2 games in a row! whoo!
  23. South Carolina-- God damn Gamecocks
  24. Kansas State-- Bill Snyder is amazing
  25. Texas A&M-- Tannehill is looking extremely good heading into the worst part of their schedule
Status Quo: Oregon, Auburn, and TCU. I knew they were going to be right there at 1, 2, and 3. Many are talking about TCU moving up to the #2 slot but that will not happen unless Oregon or Auburn slip up. If one does, though, TCU is poised to takeover one of those slots and put itself in the National Championship game.

Suprises: Oklahoma State, Alabama, and Oklahoma--

Seriously? Oklahoma has lost 2 of their last 3 and still sits at #16. Maybe its just me, but I don't like seeing Oklahoma sitting there in front of Missouri, a team they lost to. Alabama sticks at 12 after being a darkhorse for the National Championship. Many had these boys poised to make another run, but I had Bama losing one game this year. Bama can now play spoiler to Auburn and help LSU out BIG TIME to get into the SEC Championship game.

Now for Oklahoma State. I had this team dying down back at the Texas A&M game, but they refuse to die. Now they have control of their own destiny in the Big 12 South. OK State is #10 in the BCS standings as well and has a very good chance to make a BCS game with the way their playing right now. I had them finishing 4th in the Big 12 South, but look at them now. The newest installment Bedlam series will be absolutely awesome this year.
