Who Really Killed the Radio Star? LSU Did. SEC Conference Power Rankings
SEC:
1. Auburn-- The Tigers are just a few weeks away from the Iron Bowl, but they cannot look past a pesky Georgia team.
2. LSU-- Beat Alabama soundly and created a great amount of buzz for Les Miles and his crew. Look for this team to head into the Arkansas game with still just one loss to their name.
3. Arkansas-- If Arkansas was in the East, they would easily win the division. Unfortunately, they're in the West, but still staying very competitive with a great offense and an improved defense.
4. Alabama-- Lost their second SEC game to LSU but still is considered a top rate team in the country. A lowly non-BCS bowl will suffice, but the Tide want to play spoiler to Auburn's National Championship hopes.
5. Mississippi State-- Dan Mullen continues to have this team rolling as they must travel to Alabama to start off a tough end of season schedule.
6. Florida-- The offense is finally showing some signs of life, albeit against Vanderbilt, but the South Carolina matchup will decide the fate of the East.
7. South Carolina-- The Gamecocks were uncompetitive against Arkansas, but they are still able to contol the East division.
8. Mississippi-- Just not their year. A bowl berth will be tough to come by.
9. Georgia-- Ugly start, potentially ugly finish even though Georgia Tech is not looking too strong right now.
10. Kentucky-- Randall Cobb can't do everything, but a bowl berth is very obtainable within the next two games.
11. Tennessee-- Just an ugly year in general, but still flirting with bowl possibilities.
12. Vanderbilt-- Just plain ugly
